01. Concept.
The first font that I designed myself is called Elfriede. This font creates a lovely and friendly atmosphere. The small and thin letters make it a perfect font for printed texts.
02. Design.
The font is characterized by its lightness. The slightly rounded shape helps to make it look light, playful and natural. Therefore, it loosens up longer texts and can be seen as the ‘nice font next door’.

The greatest challenge was to design all letters with the same style and to define the space between each letter.

I enjoyed playing with different forms and spaces to create a modern and playful font.
