01. Concept.
Every company that wants to acquire customers online needs a clearly structured website. As the travel agency Australia Travelteam was still lacking a professional online appearance, I was put in charge to come up with a completely new concept. I created a completely new website structure including a new menu, new Imagery, new filtering options and, most importantly, a complete new area for comparing and booking campers, hotels and tours online.
I also created a new logo with different images for each country. Furthermore I redesigned the sales and marketing materials in the form of different templates and brochures. As a last step I restructured the social media channels of the company.

02. Design.
Chosing orange as the corporate design colour was a deliberate decision. Australia is widely known as the red continent, mainly because of the colour of its deserts and the famous Ayers Rock which shines in red and orange tones. This colour appears all over the website where it supports the warm and relaxing atmosphere that is created by the lively images. As traveling is quite an emotional activity, we made sure to pick images that would make people feel the excitement of traveling.
The website is clearly structured so that customers can easily find what they are looking for. Every category features different modules which help the customer to specify the search result. This way the travel agency is able to display a lot of information online without overwhleming the customer at first sight. The most important tools, i.e. contact and booking information, is fixed so that it appears on every subpage of the website.
03. Goal.
My goal was to create a well structured modern, friendly, emotional and informative website which serves both the travel agency and the customers. The website is not supposed to soley be an information outlet but an interactive communication platform between the travel agency and the customers.
04. Features.
Our new features include: country specific information, campers, tours and hotels, new filtering options, an intuitive booking platform, a comparision module for all campers, a lot of detailed information, expert tips, travel reports and much more.
All screens are optimated for tablet and mobile devices.

05. Challenge.
In terms of UX the most greatest challenge of this project was to design a booking tool that is able to process various types of information, but is, at the same time, easy to handle.

06. Fun.
One aspect that we really enjoyed while creating the website was to film and edit the image video and to come up with motivating colours and images.
